			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Bridging the gap between the I/O Students and the Fort Collins Community</strong></p>
<p>A new IOPAC initiative is focused on getting our students out into the community of Fort Collins! Starting in Fall 2009, we will begin our volunteer initiative, volunteering once a semester with local non-profit organizations who can use a few extra hands.</p>
<p>Our first event will be sometime in November or December 2009 &#8212; keep checking back here for updates on the volunteer project for Fall 2009!</p>

<p>You should send:</p>

<li><strong>Two</strong> official copies of your <strong>academic transcript</strong> from all colleges/universities attended. If possible, these should be in sealed envelopes.</li>
<li><strong>Three</strong> <strong>reference letters</strong> written on professional letterhead (we do not have a standard form) in a sealed envelope with a signature across the sealed flap. Your <strong><em>first</em></strong><em> <strong>and last name</strong></em> should be clearly indicated on these letters.</li>
<li><strong>GRE and Psychology Subject Test GRE </strong>scores. We require BOTH test scores. If taken recently, please send a photocopy of your scores. Otherwise, send official ETS copies.</li>

<li>A <strong>resume/vita</strong> indicating your education, training, and work experience.</li>
<li>A <strong>personal statement</strong> of how you became interested in I/O psychology, what you want to gain from our graduate program, and why you are interested in pursuing a career in I/O psychology.</li>
<li>A <strong>writing sample </strong>demonstrating your scientific writing ability. Examples include a senior honors thesis, term paper from a psychology course, laboratory report from an experimental course, or other similar materials.</li>
