Application Process

APPLICATION PROCESS

Obtaining an Application

1. You can start filling out the online application by going to

https://wsprod.colostate.edu/cwis116/application/Login.aspx?AC=WEBG

2. You can also obtain an application or more information about the application process in general by emailing Joanne Moran at Joanne.Moran@colostate.edu.

Supporting Documents

You should send:

  1. Two official copies of your academic transcript from all colleges/universities attended. If possible, these should be in sealed envelopes.
  2. Three reference letters written on professional letterhead (we do not have a standard form) in a sealed envelope with a signature across the sealed flap. Your first and last name should be clearly indicated on these letters.
  3. GRE and Psychology Subject Test GRE scores. We require BOTH test scores. If taken recently, please send a photocopy of your scores. Otherwise, send official ETS copies.
  4. If you would like to be considered for an assistantship, please fill out the form found on the following website under “financial assistance” at:   http://www.colostate.edu/Depts/Psychology/students/grad_apply.shtml
  5. A resume/vita indicating your education, training, and work experience.
  6. A personal statement of how you became interested in I/O psychology, what you want to gain from our graduate program, and why you are interested in pursuing a career in I/O psychology.
  7. A writing sample demonstrating your scientific writing ability. Examples include a senior honors thesis, term paper from a psychology course, laboratory report from an experimental course, or other similar materials.

All supporting documents need to be mailed together to the psychology department by January 1, 2010:
